Unfortunatley this movie now appears unlikely to be made due to a spiralling budget.

It was to be a tale of Muldrow, a WWII gunner, standed in Japan behind enemy lines. From the James Dickey novel of the same name, it was to be almost completely without dialogue, to star Brad Pitt. When budget requirements rose above $60m dollars the plug was pulled.

Hopefully one day it will be resurrected.
