This is the Waterloo Bridge which is over a part of the Bridgewater canal,in the heyday of the canals it was a very busy waterway.It is now mainly used for recreation and leisure.





 
All of these photos were taken with a Kodak DC200 digital camera.
This is a view of Runcorn Old Town which was taken from the Runcorn/Widnes road bridge.The church on the right is All Saints Parish Church and it is built on the site of a medieval church.In the foreground you can see the wall of the Manchester Ship Canal.



 
This is High Street which is the main street which runs through Runcorn.On the right you can see `The Scala` which in the past was a cinema but like so many old cinemas is now a bingo hall.
