Dirk plays an Oxford Don who fancies one of his female students. Dirk, his students, wife and another Oxford Don all get involved in a bizarre love triangle which ends in a car accident.

DIRK and Michael YORK are in his office at university.
DIRK: You erm....haven't spoken to her.
YORK: No.
DIRK: Just seen her.
YORK: I've just seen her. Walking about. A little.
DIRK: And you like the erm...the look of her.
YORK: Yes. I do.
DIRK: What am I supposed to do about it?
YORK: Nothing at all. Just like to know what you think of her that's all.
DIRK: You realise I'm her tutor.
YORK: Naturally. I also realise you're my tutor.
DIRK: And as her tutor, her moral welfare must be my first consideration.
YORK: Ah. You mean that besides being her tutor, you're also her protector?
DIRK: I mean that I reuse to encourage all countenance, male lust, as directed against any of my women students.
YORK: Well said.
DIRK: Thank you.
YORK: Anyway, what's her name for god's sake?
DIRK: Her name? Oh I remember her name. It's Anna Von Grantzundleuben.
YORK: German.
DIRK: Austrian.
YORK: Well come on, what do you think of her?
DIRK: I don't think.
YORK: I thought thinking was your job.
DIRK: Not about that.
YORK: You're not past it are you? Already?
ANNA enters the square and talks to a goat sitting in the quadrangle.
YORK: It's her.
DIRK: She's coming for a second tutorial.
YORK: You didn't tell me. She's talking to the goat.
DIRK: They speak german.
