This is the second volume of Dirk's autobiographies. "It covers the time between his experiences at an army camp in Catterick to his role as van Aschenback in Death In Venice." I loved this book! I really enjoyed reading about his time spent during the war because it really brought it alive to a person that cannot possibly know how the war felt. Possibly my favourite of the autobiogs, although I haven't read all of them yet! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
